"A" Mountain

With our failure to conquer the Wind Cave three days earlier, Marilyn and I decided to build our stamina with an easier climb. "A" mountain fit the bill. The mountain is steep, but not too high. Finding parking is the most difficult part of an "A" mountain ascent. Part way up we found the three wise men pointing the way to the top. I'm sure the Civil Liberties Union is filing law suits even as we climb.
A paved road winds half way up the mountain. From there a trail and steps take you the rest of the way. Some of the steps must have been built by boy scouts who didn't understand that 18 inch steps don't really ease the climb. On the other hand, there are a lot less steps to build when you do it that way. Oh, my knees.
Being in the middle of a city, the views from the top are worth the climb.
We made it to the top.
